Self Directed- Free Lensing.

Free Lensing - Tilt shift.

So I've been really interested in tiltshift blurring, I think it looks very cool and it adds other dimension to the image. I knew that there was a tiltshift blur filter on photoshop but i wanted something more natural and not so perfect. Oneday I was on facebook and came across an image that Little Miss Rose photography had posted. I noticed that it looked like she had put a Tilt shift filter on the image but then she mentioned about 'Free Lensing' Well i'm very glad I came across that image! Ive had so much fun trying to teach myself how to do this.

After looking at this photograph on little miss rose photography page i had to search up Free lensing and came across this diagram!

My Free lensing attempts.

It was raining the day that i took these photographs which was really good cause you could see the rain droplets. I think the blur varies with different lenses. In both these photographs I used a 50mm lens. I really love these photographs and hope to improve with more practice!
