Self Directed Models.

Modeling in Rapanui and Te Kawau bay.

So over our semester break I went home and decided to photograph my two close friends for a bit of fun. Im really happy with the outcome of the photos. I tried going for a vogue look (No Smiles and interesting clothes) Ive always wanted to photograph two models ever since I saw the photographs of Kendall Jenner and Clara Delevingne and other vogue photoshoots like the photos below.

Here is my emulation of the photographs above. Tayla is the girl with blonde hair and Vaida with the brown hair. These two had never met until this photo shoot so it was really interesting to see them warm up to each other and create a relationship in the images. 

Portraits

Here is my  favourite portraits from this shoot. I love the style and I feel I chose the right clothing for the shoot. I feel the theme 'Vogue' runs right through all these photos. I love the composition go the models, some slightly off centre and others centred. in the bottom right photograph i realised that the green grass and Vaida's reddish-purple night gown contrast's beautifully!
