Focal point.

So in the first photo you can see that Tracy's face is a little distorted, this is because I did not zoom and just stood close up to her. But when i stood back and zoomed in on her the photo turned out 10 times better. Her nose isn't looking as big. Its almost like a fish eye effect has been put on the first photo.
In these three photos I stood back from the model and zoomed up. Nothing in the photo changes except the focal length. If i was to stand back take a photo then take 5 steps closer and take another photograph the whole photograph would change each time, because i'm the one moving and id be fitting more into the image because i'm not zooming in.
Colour
Heres the difference between cool and warm colours. Warm yellow has given Tracys hair a lighter shade of brown whereas the blue has made her hair dark. Interestingly enough even though Tracy is up against a cool background her face looks relatively orange. Possibly because of sunlight.
